DECORATING WITH SPRING AND EASTER CRAFTS.

Is anything sweeter than a tiny Easter basket filled with the glories of spring!?!  I say, NO!  I began  today with seed starter pots.  I love the texture and earthy color of these guys…plus, they are super cheap.  I bought  12  for about 2.00.  With a few simple changes they were darling little baskets to adorn my table.   I have filled these baskets with bunnies, chicks, and eggs.  Then added bits and pieces of scrap ribbon, tinsel, and flowers!
The edges of the pots were covered with green moss.    The handles are made from small flower stems, scraps of ribbon for bows.  Next,  each basket was filled with beans.  (I had to weigh them down a little!) and given a darling little trinket of spring!  I think my favorite one is the tiny nest with blue eggs!

If you know me very well, you know I am a junk shopper.  I can’t help myself!  I get a bizarre second-hand high from thrift shopping!  Funny thing is, I have shopped from Goodwill and Nordstrom’s all in one day.  I am a little weird that way!
Talk about extremes! The last time I was thrift shopping this little, old, and very naked flower arrangement was calling my name!  All the flowers had been picked off, it was so sad! I couldn’t leave the store without it!  The little guy was 50 cents, I had to!
I figured I would freshen him up and he would make a great addition to my spring table!  I love the way it turned out.  I spent about $4.00 buying  tiny flower stems from the craft store.  I have to admit the bling around the fence was not necessary but, I  had already added it to the tiny baskets...sooooooo!  I sorta had to do that too!  A little bling never hurt anyone!
