MAKE YOUR OWN RIBBON

This post is for my lovely Sister-in law who lives far far away...hope this helps.

 I cut thick pieces of 100% polyester fabric into strips.

Then I gently burnt the edges. Be careful not to burn it.  

I made sure that I cut and burnt the edges on an angle like I would cut the edges of ribbon.

I wired the flowers onto the bucket and then tied two layers of the burnt ribbon around the wire.  I love the look.  It makes me happy.  :]
